The human mind is extrememly suggestible and is being bombarded by suggestive stimuli from the outside and suggestive thoughts and ideas from the inside. Much suffering is the reaction of negative thoughts and impulses invading your mind from conscious recesses. Past experiences, guilt feelings and repudiated feelings and impulses can push themselves into awareness, directly or in disguised forms, sabotaging one's happiness, health and efficiency. Ingrained "negative" thinking habits are not easy to break, but in hypnosis your mind is active, your thoughts are under control and you are in complete communication with the Hypnotherapist and yourself.
How do I benefit from hypnosis?
Think of hypnosis as a spectrum of awareness stretching from waking to sleep. Over this entire spectrum, suggestibility is increased and this suggestibility is potentially beneficial if put to constructive use.
